Base Salary
$106k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate services and capabilities for the Solventum-HIS AI Fabric.
- Build scalable AI inference, lightweight agentic workflow, lifecycle management, and model registry capabilities.
- Develop LLM, SLM, MCP, AI agent, tool integration, orchestration, and multimodal medical documentation and coding services.
- Build APIs, SDKs, reusable services, and developer tooling for safely integrating AI into product applications.
- Engineer highly scalable, available, distributed systems using cloud-native architectures, containers, and microservices.
- Implement agent state management, observability, lineage, deployment, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD capabilities.
- Embed security, privacy, data protection, reliability, and operational readiness into AI platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, science, product, architecture, and security teams and participate in architecture, design, code review, and automated testing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and 5–10 years of computer science or software development experience, including building and operating production software.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java, with experience in Go and TypeScript.
- Experience developing products on a major cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, observability, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and production on-call operations.
- Experience building REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with generative AI, LLMs, SLMs, RAG, vector search, and model evaluation.
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks and concepts including LangGraph, LangChain, tool calling, multi-agent systems, and workflow orchestration.
- Healthcare technology experience is preferred.
- Strong engineering discipline involving automated testing, code coverage, code quality, security, privacy, reliability, performance, and code sustainability is preferred.
