Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and design teams to influence overall product strategy.
- Investigate design approaches, prototype technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Build highly scalable, reliable, and available distributed services using AWS Cloud.
- Develop agentic APIs and cloud services and device software solutions with low latency, low cost, high reliability, and high scalability.
- Integrate advanced AI systems into Alexa’s core communication capabilities.
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code reviews.
- Contribute to operational excellence by identifying problems and proposing solutions.
- Deliver high-quality software in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
