Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and deliver scalable software components across systems and applications.
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases to validate application programming interfaces.
- Analyze and troubleshoot API functionality and performance issues.
- Use automation tools and scripting languages to streamline testing procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in team discussions to resolve work-related problems.
- Contribute to software quality, performance, and continuous delivery processes.
- Work independently toward subject matter expertise and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of overall experience is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in API testing is required.
- Proficiency in API testing is required.
- Experience with Postman, Rest Assured, and Selenium with Java is required or expected for the role.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes is required.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot API functionality and performance is required.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
