Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and refactor-friendly code with Ruby on Rails.
- Apply solid object-oriented programming principles to build scalable features.
- Design and optimize back-end systems, APIs, and data flows.
- Build modern, responsive front-end experiences using React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Work across relational databases, writing efficient SQL and shaping data models.
- Own technical direction across projects, balancing hands-on development with guidance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and QA teams.
Requirements
- At least 7-10 years of full-stack development experience, with Ruby on Rails as a core strength.
- Experienced in leading projects end-to-end, from problem breakdown to feature shipping.
- Passionate about mentoring and helping others grow as engineers.
- Highly organized with superb attention to detail.
- Superior project management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work in an ever-changing environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable working in a distributed, semi-virtual environment.
