Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own an entire product domain from architecture through daily production deployments.
- Join customer calls, synthesize feedback, and make independent product decisions.
- Build and optimize multimodal voice and SMS agents targeting sub-500ms voice latency, strong SMS response rates, and persistent cross-channel conversation state.
- Define architecture and quality standards for nondeterministic systems, including evaluations, prompt versioning, guardrails, and drift detection.
- Develop across React/Next.js frontends, Node.js backends, and Python voice services.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of full-stack engineering experience shipping 0-to-1 products at high-growth startups, top-tier technology companies, or as a founder.
- Production proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
- Production experience with LLM APIs or agent SDKs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel AI SDK, Mastra, or LangGraph.
- Depth in at least one area including production voice/SMS agents, long-running agent state and memory, B2B2C or marketplace architecture, or agent evaluations and guardrails.
- Ability to make independent product decisions and conduct customer discovery without PM support.
- Python experience with real-time voice pipelines or evaluation tooling is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Redis, BullMQ, Vercel, Render, Sentry, or PostHog is a plus.
- Founder experience with demonstrated traction and clear learnings from failure is valued but not required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
