Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and scale production AI applications, copilots, retrieval systems, and agentic workflows.
- Develop backend services, APIs, distributed applications, and architectures integrating AI with enterprise systems.
- Build multi-agent systems, AI agents, workflow automation, and decision-support solutions.
- Deploy and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes, including scaling, service networking, resource management, monitoring, security, evaluation, and governance.
- Integrate AI applications with enterprise data platforms, APIs, databases, messaging systems, and business applications.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, product, architecture, security, business, and client stakeholders.
- Contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks, technical assets, and thought leadership to the AI Engineering practice.
- Own technical workstreams and recommend practical approaches involving emerging AI technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and deploying AI or machine learning solutions into production.
- Strong programming experience with Python, Java, C#, Go, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, or distributed applications and developing AI applications with modern LLMs, machine learning models, or intelligent automation.
- Experience with online and offline evaluation, observability, context engineering, guardrails, AI governance, MLOps, LLMOps, or production deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including testing, version control, code reviews, and system design.
- Experience using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Google Antigravity, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or comparable coding harnesses.
- Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise data sources, APIs, and business systems.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, containers, Kubernetes, serverless platforms, or similar cloud-native technologies.
- Preferred experience with FastAPI, Flask, Spring Boot, .NET, Express, multi-agent systems, semantic search, vector databases, knowledge graph retrieval, distributed systems, high-scale cloud applications, or AI deployments serving more than 1,000 users.
- Preferred consulting or enterprise customer experience, data pipeline experience, and experience pre-training or fine-tuning LLMs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
