Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end QA delivery for client deployments, including planning, execution, defect triage, quality metrics, risk tracking, and release readiness.
- Lead and manage distributed QA/SDET teams in the US and India through task assignment, prioritization, mentoring, and technical guidance.
- Define and implement an automation-first QA strategy while contributing to manual, exploratory, edge-case, UAT, and release testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools, including automated UI, API, integration, and data-validation tests.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and apply AI tools for test generation, defect analysis, code generation, debugging, and automation acceleration.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, release managers, clients, and internal and external teams across time zones.
- Continuously improve QA processes, test frameworks, tooling, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Strong experience as an SDET or automation-focused QA engineer, including manual testing of web applications.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, processes, test design techniques, and automated testing.
- Strong experience with SQL and data validation, API testing, and data-driven systems.
- Experience managing QA for client-facing or external deployments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and leading or mentoring engineers, including distributed or offshore teams.
- Comfort using AI tools within the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation tools; healthcare, health insurance, or Medicaid experience; performance or load testing; and cloud or microservices environments.
