Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain secure full-stack applications across front-end, APIs/services, and data layers.
  • Build Java applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Develop front-end features using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
  • Design and develop RESTful services, APIs, service-oriented architecture, enterprise service bus integrations, and message queues.
  • Implement CI/CD and infrastructure as code using Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and related DevOps tools.
  • Provision and manage AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, Availability Zones, firewalls, NACLs, security groups, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Develop AWS applications using EC2, RDS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, and Directory Services.
  • Implement automated testing and repository workflows using GitLab, JFrog Artifactory or similar tools, Selenium, and Leapwork.
  • Support SDLC and change management activities, including branching strategies, documentation, debugging, code reviews, and technical issue resolution.
  • Apply secure software development practices including threat modeling, fuzz testing, static code analysis, security scanning, and coding and testing standards.
  • Develop and improve Security Operations processes, SOPs, playbooks, work instructions, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Analyze requirements and feasibility, including user needs, software requirements, technical design, timelines, and cost constraints.

Requirements

  • Active TS clearance, SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of directly relevant technical experience; additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
  • At least 6 years of experience designing, developing, and modifying standalone application software.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience in Agile environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in AWS cloud and virtualized infrastructure environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and developing infrastructure as code with Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React, jQuery, Bootstrap, REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTML/CSS, and Visual Studio.
  • Extensive application development, API integration and development, and scripting experience.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, source code management, and repositories such as GitLab.
  • Employment is restricted to US citizens or lawful permanent residents.
