Base Salary

$180k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Build new product experiences across backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend workflows.
Design and implement backend systems for product logic, orchestration, data access, and AI-enabled workflows.
Contribute to frontend development in React-based applications, including tight frontend-backend iteration.
Collaborate with product, design, operations, and AI/ML partners to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped products.
Prototype quickly and harden successful concepts into maintainable product systems.
Build internal and customer-facing workflows using AI, structured data, and software automation.
Help define product requirements through technical judgment and improve product quality through instrumentation, testing, and system design.
Use AI tools for coding, debugging, investigation, product exploration, and iteration, while helping raise team velocity.

Strong product-minded software engineer with full-stack capability and a backend/product-logic center of gravity.
Ability to work independently in ambiguous, high-velocity environments and drive work from rough idea to production.
Strong backend experience with Python, FastAPI, or similar service-oriented systems.
Experience building product backends, APIs, integrations, and data-heavy application logic.
Meaningful experience with React-based frontend applications, TypeScript, and React Router or Remix-style frameworks.
Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, or other relational data systems.
Experience with GCP or similar cloud environments.
Experience building AI-powered products, internal tools, workflow software, or operational software is preferred.
Startup experience and experience in healthcare, fintech, logistics, or other operationally complex domains are preferred.
Clear communication, product judgment, ownership, and comfort using AI to accelerate engineering and product development.
