Base Salary
$251k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build the agentic orchestration layer for composing, sequencing, and operating AI agents.
- Lead technology projects and guide developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers and architects.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, reusable frameworks, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams and mentor members of the engineering community.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, technical-debt reduction, and performance optimization.
- Evaluate emerging tools and practices while operating in a you-build-it-you-own-it environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 7+ years coding in more than two listed languages, and 3+ years with databases and cloud technologies.
- Preferred: experience with open-source frameworks, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with observability, AI-based coding tools and IDE copilots, interactive AI tooling, mentoring engineers, cross-functional engineering leadership, and establishing coding standards.
