Responsibilities
- Design, script, configure, and execute performance tests for software applications and infrastructure.
- Create performance test strategies, test plans, estimates, optimization reports, and KPI reports.
- Condition test data to accurately simulate performance test scenarios.
- Use JMeter, AppDynamics, Fiddler, and other performance testing tools to capture and analyze performance information.
- Collaborate with Development and Architecture teams to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Profile end-to-end application performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Mentor team members on performance engineering and automation frameworks.
- Maintain quality standards and propose innovative solutions to business problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM-related program.
- At least 7 years of experience working as a Performance Test Engineer.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with AppDynamics and performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter and WebLOAD.
- Extensive experience generating and analyzing software performance reports against prior releases.
- Strong experience profiling application performance and identifying bottlenecks.
- Experience with JMeter, API testing, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of scenario building, QA concepts, and product understanding is preferred.
