Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain GraphRAG ingestion pipelines that transform relational, unstructured ESG, and streaming data into operational property graphs and RDF triple stores.
  • Build NER, entity-linking, deduplication, and entity-resolution workflows for vendor, material, and facility data.
  • Create ETL/ELT pipelines that federate internal supply chain data with external ontologies, registries, sensor standards, and geospatial data.
  • Develop low-latency GraphRAG retrieval layers, optimized Cypher and SPARQL queries, NL2Query tools, hybrid vector-graph indexes, and MCP endpoints for autonomous LLM agents.
  • Operationalize SHACL shapes as automated data-quality tests in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Optimize multi-hop query performance, graph partitioning, and database indexing for sub-second traversal across billions of nodes and edges.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 4 years of production experience building and querying graph databases, including labeled property graphs or RDF triple stores.
  • Strong cloud technology experience, preferably with Azure and its ecosystem.
  • Advanced Python proficiency, including experience with RDFLib, NetworkX, or PyGraphistry, for scalable production data pipelines.
  • Experience building entity-extraction pipelines with LangChain, LlamaIndex, spaCy, or LLM-based structured extraction.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and integrating graph databases with vector stores for hybrid search.
  • Strong knowledge of RDF, RDFS, OWL, SKOS, SHACL, RDF-star, SPARQL, graph schema design, RML, and R2RML.
  • Experience with supply chain, carbon accounting, or lifecycle assessment data is preferred.
  • Direct MCP server development, enterprise OBDA experience at scale, and related graph-agent tooling experience are preferred.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work in Barcelona with 4 days per month in the office, or full remote work from Spain.
  • Support with necessary office and IT equipment.
  • Flexible working hours and a monthly hybrid allowance for electricity and internet.
  • Wellness allowance and professional mental health support.
  • Learning and development opportunities, sustainability events, community involvement, peer recognition, and employee-led resource groups.
  • Remote work from abroad policy.
  • Meals and transportation vouchers through Coverflex.
  • Dental, life and accident, and private health insurance.
  • Paid employee volunteer day and one paid moving day per year.
  • One Community Service Day and one Personal Day.
