Responsibilities
- Write high-quality code and design scalable backend services for on-premises and SaaS environments.
- Develop and maintain recovery capabilities for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Okta environments.
- Integrate identity recovery data and capabilities with Netwrix cybersecurity and ITDR products.
- Advance the product toward SaaS and cloud deployment through containerization and cloud-native service design.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development and enable smarter recovery automation, anomaly identification, and predictive operations.
- Partner with customers and customer-facing teams to triage issues, understand needs, and gather product feedback.
- Collaborate with product management, platform teams, product teams, and engineering leadership on technical direction.
- Mentor engineers and support their technical growth while promoting security-first engineering and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience focused on enterprise software.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale on-premises software; SaaS-at-scale experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows systems programming, enterprise deployment patterns, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring or observability.
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core/.NET.
- Proficiency maintaining and extending C++ code for Windows services.
- Experience with Windows services, interprocess communication, Windows security APIs, distributed systems, modular architectures, service-oriented design, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous communication.
- Experience with SQL Server or comparable relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or similar identity and directory systems.
- Experience mentoring or guiding engineers and balancing technical quality with business priorities.
- Preferred qualifications include COM, RPC, Windows service development, Microsoft Graph API, Okta APIs, Azure services, Docker, Kubernetes, Go, disaster recovery, identity security, threat detection, SIEM concepts, security frameworks, and open-source or technical community contributions.
