Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team while supporting team well-being.
- Lead multiple complex projects from inception through operation and take ownership of business-critical technical challenges.
- Apply system design expertise to architectural decisions and unblock complex engineering problems.
- Contribute hands-on to the codebase and set a high standard for technical and coding excellence.
- Build new configurable features and products for the Engine platform and contribute to internal tooling.
- Shape tooling, automation, architecture, and future platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with clients, solution architects, product owners, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead technical delivery for large-scale projects and champion continuous improvement and a healthy engineering culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience delivering changes to critical systems in distributed environments.
- Highly proficient software development skills and a strong standard for technical and coding excellence.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices.
- Experience delivering complex outcomes across multiple domains and teams.
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers to support their career development.
- Experience leading technical delivery on large-scale projects to successful completion.
- Specific qualifications are not required; the company prioritizes aptitude, attitude, and the ability to develop elegant solutions to difficult technical problems.
