Responsibilities
- Architect, code, research, and deliver solutions for new publisher-focused products.
- Build and scale web applications using Node.js, Express, and AngularJS.
- Develop API services infrastructure and associated tooling.
- Work in an agile environment to build, validate, test, and iterate on potential products.
- Use user engagement and product metrics to help determine what to build next.
- Collaborate with product managers and senior leadership to develop products addressing market needs.
- Deliver high-quality code from ideation through quality assurance on a small team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience implementing web applications.
- Strong software design and architectural skills.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience building Node.js applications, AngularJS applications, and highly scalable applications.
- Experience implementing API services infrastructure and associated tooling.
- Strong Unix skills and experience working within DevOps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Strong motivation to expand and improve software engineering skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferred experience includes ad products, internet marketing, Hive, Cassandra, Kafka, MapReduce, Cucumber, and AWS.
- Experience as a startup founding member or leading development of new products is an ideal background.
