Responsibilities
- Assess satellite imagery manually and through automated tooling against contractual and technical quality standards.
- Build and maintain internal quality-assessment tools, backend scripts, and data pipelines.
- Support investigations into customer-reported imagery quality disputes and gather technical evidence.
- Contribute to automated quality-assessment systems that replace routine manual review.
- Write clear technical reports and actionable tickets for engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in geoinformatics, geomatics, remote sensing, or a closely related field.
- Working understanding of optical remote sensing fundamentals.
- Solid Python skills, including version control, code review, and production-quality scripting.
- Exposure to QGIS or Python geospatial libraries such as GDAL, rasterio, and shapely.
- Basic SQL and database familiarity.
- Clear written communication skills for explaining technical findings to non-specialists.
- Preferred qualifications include Linux experience, GitLab CI or similar CI/CD pipeline experience, and exposure to PySide6/Qt or end-to-end internal tool development.
