Responsibilities

  • Lead the full software development lifecycle from intake and requirements definition through architecture, development, testing, deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with business owners, Digital Solution Leaders, stakeholders, and technical experts to identify opportunities, define requirements, and evaluate solution approaches.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery with IT, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure solutions align with approved technologies, governance standards, security requirements, operational support models, and production deployment processes.
  • Manage a portfolio of innovation initiatives by tracking priorities, risks, dependencies, project status, adoption, performance, and business value.
  • Develop documentation, support procedures, ownership models, reusable solutions, and best practices for long-term sustainability.
  • Coach citizen developers and technical teams and research emerging technologies that can improve efficiency and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; an associate degree with equivalent experience may be used in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience delivering technology, automation, software, digital transformation, or business process improvement solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience gathering requirements, evaluating solutions, and managing technology projects through development, implementation, and support.
  • Experience developing or supporting solutions with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, or VBA.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, organizational, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with AEC software platforms and ecosystems such as Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bentley applications, ArcGIS, or QGIS is a plus.
