Responsibilities
- Design complex, scalable, and maintainable software features across distributed, microservices, domain-driven, CQRS, and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and engineering peers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Analyze technical challenges and system bottlenecks and document solutions for large-scale transactional processing.
- Facilitate code reviews and promote unit, integration, end-to-end testing, and modern development practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve decision-making, code quality, and productivity.
- Work additional or irregular hours as needed and follow security policies protecting company and client information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 4–6 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong experience in several relevant backend, frontend, cloud, infrastructure, architecture, data, or AI-assisted development technologies.
- Ability to work across complex software systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods.
- Preferred domain knowledge includes healthcare technology interoperability, FHIR, HL7, HIPAA, EMR, medical claims, or payroll accounting.
