Base Salary

$193k - $269k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality production code and establish strong engineering standards.
  • Drive technical direction for the Unreal Ecosystem, including prioritization and buy/build decisions.
  • Lead technical execution of multi-month to year-plus initiatives across the business unit.
  • Break down ambiguous and complex problems, identify risks, and communicate trade-offs.
  • Develop and support infrastructure, build and test automation, release pipelines, and developer tooling.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to improve continuous-delivery game development.
  • Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical role model and force multiplier.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Expertise with C++.
  • Experience with mobile development and modern video game engines.
  • Experience working with large game teams and large codebases.
  • Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of common game and software design patterns.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple disciplines.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine, online games, and console development is preferred.
