Responsibilities
- Write excellent code that sets a high standard for other engineers.
- Drive the ideation and process of setting technical direction within the Unreal Ecosystem.
- Lead the technical execution of long-term work efforts across the business unit.
- Help teams navigate ambiguity by breaking down problems and identifying risks.
- Work on various tech stacks including infrastructure, automation, and developer tooling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address pain points in game development.
- Serve as a role model of Riot values and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expertise in C++ programming.
- Experience with mobile development.
- Familiarity with modern video game engines.
- Experience working with large game teams and code bases.
- Proficient in debugging, profiling, and optimizing complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of common game and software design patterns.
- Experience collaborating with teammates across multiple disciplines.
