Responsibilities
- Design and implement compiler passes across the Tungsten toolchain.
- Co-design language constructs to enhance expressiveness and performance.
- Develop and iterate on code generation strategies for scientific and AI workloads.
- Extend the compiler to support future hardware architectures.
- Collaborate with ASIC architects and application researchers for hardware-software co-design.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred.
- Substantial experience in compiler development for novel architectures.
- Strong grasp of computer architecture and its impact on compilation strategy.
- Systems-level programming ability in C.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
