Responsibilities
- Develop and execute testing strategies for web, mobile, API, and data-driven applications.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and end-to-end tests for UI, APIs, and data workflows.
- Perform manual, acceptance, functional, integration, performance, load, and reliability testing as applicable.
- Identify, document, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with engineering, product, and data teams.
- Analyze test results, quality metrics, production incidents, risks, and root causes to recommend improvements.
- Improve test coverage, CI/CD quality processes, monitoring, observability, and release validation.
- Own QA responsibilities for product features and lead quality initiatives across multiple teams at senior level.
- Mentor QA engineers and promote automation and AI-assisted testing practices at senior level.
Requirements
- Junior-level candidates require 1–2 years of manual and automated testing experience, while mid-level candidates require 3+ years and senior candidates require 5+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Appium, or similar tools.
- Python coding experience; mid-level candidates should also have solid Python or JavaScript experience, while senior candidates need advanced Python skills.
- Experience testing modern web and mobile applications, including ReactJS and React Native applications.
- Experience testing REST APIs, API endpoints, backend services, distributed systems, and data pipelines as applicable to level.
- Knowledge of SQL, data validation, and testing strategies for analytics-driven applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test automation integration, quality gates, debugging, root cause analysis, and log analysis.
- Senior candidates should have expertise in automation architecture, performance and reliability testing, quality strategy, leadership, and mentoring.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, adaptability, and willingness to learn are expected.
