Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert by providing high-level technical reviews and advice across multiple teams.
- Define and design scalable technical solutions for complex business problems in a high-traffic environment handling 20krpm+.
- Influence the long-term technical roadmap and manage project timelines, risks, and sustainable delivery paces.
- Mentor and coach engineers across all levels and partner with emerging leaders to scale the engineering culture.
- Lead engineering interviews and contribute to recruiting strategy.
Requirements
- Significant experience building web-based applications using modern technology stacks, with experience or interest in Go, Ruby, Python, and Scala.
- Proven ability to design and operate web architectures handling significant request volumes in high-traffic environments.
- Experience owning relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience with NoSQL backends such as Redis, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
- Ability to design and operate systems supporting massive request volumes and complex logistical workflows.
- Strong strategic leadership skills, including aligning multiple disciplines and teams to resolve ambiguous technical challenges.
