Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision across multiple teams.
- Contribute to annual and quarterly planning with product and engineering managers.
- Actively participate in coding and mentoring engineers.
- Translate higher-level business goals into actionable engineering approaches.
- Support engineers through mentorship and design reviews.
- Coordinate across squads to drive alignment and resolve dependencies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product engineering with an end-to-end mindset.
- Experience coordinating multi-team technical initiatives.
- Ability to design scalable and evolvable systems.
- Experience running services in production with a 'you build it, you run it' mindset.
- Familiarity with complex domains, ideally in travel or fintech.
- Strong backend development skills, with comfort in full-stack environments.
- Experience leading observability and reliability practices.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and influencing technical excellence.
- Interest in AI-augmented development workflows.
