Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture and technical design for Pega applications.
- Lead solution design across case management, workflows, data models, integrations, security, user experience, and non-functional requirements.
- Define reusable components, enterprise design patterns, implementation standards, and Pega guardrail compliance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, architecture governance, and escalation support to multiple Pega development teams.
- Design REST API and enterprise integration patterns using services, connectors, data pages, and messaging.
- Define authentication, authorization, access-control, monitoring, performance-optimization, DevOps, deployment, and release approaches.
- Lead technical workshops, design and code reviews, production-readiness activities, estimation, delivery planning, and technical risk management.
- Collaborate with Business Architects, Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Security Architects, and Integration Architects.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise applications with the Pega Platform.
- Strong experience as a Pega Lead System Architect or Solution Architect on large and complex programmes.
- Deep knowledge of Pega case management, application architecture, data modelling, integration, guardrails, and reusable architecture.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, integration services, connectors, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience designing secure Pega solutions with authentication, authorization, and role-based or attribute-based access controls.
- Strong knowledge of Pega performance optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Pega DevOps, automated testing, and enterprise deployment approaches.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading multiple Pega development teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Mandatory Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CPLSA/CLSA) certification.
- Experience with Pega Infinity '24/'25 or later and Pega Constellation architecture and DX API is desirable.
- For SC clearance eligibility, candidates must have lived and worked continuously in the UK for the past five years.
