Base Salary
$139k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design solutions after gathering business and technical requirements for Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Develop, implement, test, debug, and support high-performing software solutions.
- Create technical specifications, process diagrams, architectural roadmaps, and strategic Claims systems direction.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on data model changes, code quality, code reviews, and complex performance issues.
- Coordinate business partners, internal and contracted technology teams, software vendors, and other architects to deliver solutions.
- Perform system impact analysis and present technical recommendations and results to leadership and business audiences.
Requirements
- Typically requires 14+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
- Expert-level knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter, including configuration, integration capabilities, and cloud implementations.
- Experience with Property/Casualty insurance claims workflows and strategic, multi-phase projects involving multiple teams.
- Demonstrated experience designing solutions from technical requirements and driving Claims systems architectural direction.
- Experience providing guidance on data model changes, code quality, code reviews, and complex performance troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with Rally, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, BitBucket, and GitLab.
- Experience working in an Agile and SAFe Agile development environment and understanding collaboration among engineers, analysts, and testers.
- Strong organizational, written, oral communication, prioritization, multitasking, and presentation skills.
