Responsibilities
- Own and evolve architecture within a defined infrastructure domain.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable systems across multiple teams.
- Establish and promote best practices and standards within the domain.
- Lead delivery of high-impact infrastructure projects.
- Drive migrations and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with IT, SRE, and Security teams to unify solutions.
- Improve system reliability through monitoring and operational design.
- Design and support core infrastructure components.
- Build and improve automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
- Mentor engineers and guide system design.
- Maintain clear documentation and runbooks for systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles.
- Strong experience designing and operating production infrastructure.
- Solid expertise in VMware, Cisco UCS, and application/network load balancers.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix operating systems and networking fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical work across teams.
