Base Salary
$206k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the vision and organizational strategy for internal AI systems and adoption.
- Build a unified, secure internal AI platform connecting Copilot Agents, Gemini, Claude, agentic CLIs, n8n workflows, local runtimes, and core platforms, including internal MCP servers.
- Create and deploy IDE agents that accelerate engineering work.
- Develop orchestration layers and secure runtime environments for LLM tool use.
- Build an enterprise knowledge base that connects disparate data sources for agentic reasoning.
- Design tiered autonomy, verifiable-state controls, and revert mechanisms for safe agent action-taking.
- Design authentication, authorization, least-privilege, and human-in-the-loop security patterns for agentic access.
- Embed with teams to identify units of toil, unblock workflows, and improve AI-native engineering practices.
Requirements
- Broad systems engineering experience spanning frontend interfaces, backend distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience implementing AI enablement patterns such as MCP, RAG, function-calling, and evaluations.
- Understanding of AI-agent security risks, Shift-Left security, least-privilege access, secrets management, authentication, authorization, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
- Ability to influence AI strategy, explain complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders, and drive architectural consensus.
- Pragmatic approach to selecting appropriate AI or deterministic solutions and focusing on measurable utility.
- Strong ownership, autonomy, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
