Base Salary
$116k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the software development and deployment pipeline.
- Design, build, and maintain automation for cloud-based product deployments.
- Support application infrastructure to optimize performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain supporting infrastructure using an 'infrastructure as code' methodology.
- Perform and automate system administration services including installation and disaster recovery.
- Identify and resolve scalability and reliability issues.
- Manage incident response protocols and assist with Root Cause Analysis.
- Monitor and improve processes for security, compliance, and resource usage.
- Mentor other engineers to uphold quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Docker, Chef, or Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and web services design.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Proficiency in coding/scripting languages like Java, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work with various open-source technologies and cloud services.
- Knowledge of log/event collection and automation triggers.
