Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable machine learning infrastructure that productionizes experimental data science models.
- Develop low-latency model inference services and deployment automation for real-time platform decisions.
- Create and optimize a centralized feature store combining batch historical data with real-time event streams.
- Build and operate ML platform components for training, experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and developer self-service.
- Implement automated retraining pipelines, observability, and controls for data drift and model degradation.
- Work with the Infrastructure team and participate in on-call and incident response for production ML systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of platform engineering experience deploying and maintaining scalable ML platforms in high-traffic production environments.
- At least 1 year of end-to-end production ML systems ownership, including on-call and incident response.
- Experience with real-time data, streaming architectures such as Kafka, Flink, or Pub/Sub, and model inference services delivering responses in under 100 milliseconds.
- Deep MLOps experience across model training, deployment, and monitoring using tools such as SageMaker, Vertex AI, vector databases, and graph databases.
- Experience managing and scaling Redis or Elasticsearch caches.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cluster-level management.
- Expertise in Python and proficiency in Go; C++ or Rust experience is a strong plus.
- Experience building ML platform infrastructure, feature stores, self-service tooling for ML and data science teams, or AI-agent and AI-coding workflows is preferred.
- Experience in daily fantasy sports, oddsmaking, or high-frequency trading is preferred.
