Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technical customer engagements focused on application modernization, AI solutions, developer productivity, and intelligent applications.
- Deliver demonstrations, workshops, architecture reviews, envisioning sessions, hackathons, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Translate customer challenges into modern application and AI solution architectures.
- Advise customers on web applications, APIs, microservices, containers, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, serverless technologies, and cloud-native platforms.
- Guide application modernization, cloud migration, DevOps, GitOps, platform engineering, observability, performance optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Design and position AI-powered solutions, generative AI, copilots, agents, intelligent workflows, and enterprise-data-grounded AI experiences.
- Support responsible AI, governance, security, compliance, identity, and modern application development practices.
- Partner with account teams and specialists to grow Apps & AI pipeline, support deal execution, and accelerate customer decision-making.
- Develop reference architectures, technical guidance, reusable assets, technical content, and customer success stories.
- Mentor and coach Solution Engineers and technical peers while contributing to technical communities.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom through citizenship, a valid visa, or a work permit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, software engineering, consulting, cloud engineering, or a related technical role.
- Experience designing, building, or helping customers adopt modern application platforms and cloud technologies.
- Experience engaging technical and business stakeholders in customer-facing environments.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless platforms.
- Knowledge of application modernization, migration approaches, DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, platform engineering, and developer productivity solutions.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, generative AI, copilots, agents, intelligent applications, Azure services, GitHub, developer tools, integration technologies, and application platforms.
- Understanding of application security, governance, identity, compliance, scalability, resilience, performance, and cost considerations.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise digital transformation experience, hands-on Azure, GitHub, Kubernetes, Containers, or Power Platform experience, AI solution experience, technical workshop and proof-of-concept delivery, relevant Microsoft or industry certifications, and experience in collaborative sales, engineering, and customer success environments.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range is £36,600.00–£63,000.00 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- This position is open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
- The role is based in the United Kingdom and requires legal authorization to work there.
