Responsibilities
- Perform integration, black-box, and end-to-end testing across software and device ecosystems.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for functional and system validation.
- Analyze test failures, review logs, isolate root causes, and drive issue resolution.
- Configure, provision, troubleshoot, and maintain physical devices and test environments in a lab environment.
- Partner with engineering and quality teams to improve product quality, test coverage, and release readiness.
- Independently manage priorities, drive deliverables, and communicate effectively.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Automation Quality Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Strong programming expertise in Swift, Objective-C, Python, or Java with working knowledge of Xcode.
- Experience performing black-box testing and end-to-end functional validation.
- Hands-on experience configuring, provisioning, and managing physical devices in a lab environment.
- Strong debugging, log analysis, root cause investigation, and defect isolation skills.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Preferred qualifications include operating system and device testing, XCTest and iOS automation, shell scripting, Xcode application development, and testing backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of telemetry, logging, analytics, and performance monitoring concepts is helpful.
- Experience with OS/device testing and Swift development is highly preferred; interviews may include a live coding assessment.
