Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, configure, procure, test, and deploy inference models for users.
- Develop services and techniques that ensure continual, high-quality inference service.
- Create reliable pipelines for closed-source model usage with model vendor teams.
- Translate stakeholder goals into engineering outcomes and coordinate with other teams.
- Establish infrastructure for services and integrate LLM-powered tools for user needs.
- Support short-term, high-priority customer inference needs during surge efforts.
- Mentor engineers and improve development practices and standards.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- A B.S. in a technical discipline is required, or four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- The posting states both 3 years and 12 years of required experience in different sections.
- Experience with Python or other modern programming languages is required.
- Experience or familiarity with Argo CD or other CI/CD frameworks is required.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm is required.
- Experience or familiarity with AWS or other cloud service providers is required.
- Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities are required.
- Preferred experience includes vLLM, LiteLLM, LLM hosting frameworks, production SRE practices, Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, traffic shaping, and quality-of-service engineering.
