Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Enhance Aegon’s AWS Launchpad platform and related operational services.
- Support onboarding of internal development teams to the Launchpad platform.
- Build production-ready generative AI and agentic AI solutions using Python and AWS AgentCore.
- Translate complex business problems into well-defined project requirements.
- Lead AI development teams under supervision in delivering business transformation initiatives using software engineering best practices.
- Select appropriate AWS AI components and services to solve business problems.
- Contribute to AI governance and operational processes.
- Drive AI adoption, share ideas, and promote innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams and internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of related experience, including at least three years of demonstrable experience designing end-to-end AI solutions.
- Strong Python proficiency for production-ready delivery.
- Deep understanding of generative AI and agentic frameworks, including Strands SDK, LangChain, A2A, and MCP.
- Experience with the full AI model lifecycle, including planning, training, deployment, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of AWS AI infrastructure and AI services.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
- Professional certifications in AI and/or cloud technologies are required.
- Experience in insurance or another regulated sector is preferred.
- A master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience building AI solutions with AWS AgentCore is preferred.

- Annual salary range of $207,200–$259,000, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.
