Software Engineering MTS (Full Stack) - AI Generalist (Demo Tools & Platform Engineering)
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design and build full-stack frontend and backend applications for internal AI-powered tools.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Integrate LLM-powered agents into workflows for automation, orchestration, and task execution.
- Design reusable skills and tools that agents can invoke to interact with internal systems.
- Build Slack-based tools, bots, and AI-driven self-service workflows.
- Implement RAG systems, embeddings, and context-aware data pipelines.
- Work across Angular, Vue, React, Node.js, and Python to deliver end-to-end experiences.
- Write reliable, maintainable, scalable code and improve system performance, cost, observability, and developer experience.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions while partnering with product managers, designers, and engineers.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering, system design, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern backend frameworks, preferably Node.js.
- Working knowledge of Python for AI and machine-learning integrations.
- Experience building and consuming APIs and microservices.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and building AI-assisted features.
- Understanding of agentic patterns including tool use, orchestration, prompt design, and structured outputs.
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured data, APIs, and storage for AI systems.
- Strong understanding of Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Ability to own work from design through production in ambiguous environments.
- Preferred experience with LangChain or AutoGPT, Pinecone or Weaviate, RAG pipelines, Slack APIs and bots, Salesforce platforms, internal developer platforms, and AI system risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, and reliability issues.
