Responsibilities
- Analyze the current technology stack and develop strategies to continuously improve application delivery.
- Establish milestones to measure and monitor software delivery and reliability.
- Identify and automate manual software development lifecycle processes.
- Develop cloud-migration strategies for software not currently hosted in a cloud environment.
- Review infrastructure and hosting costs to identify savings opportunities.
- Establish enterprise-level DevOps best practices and mentor other engineers.
- Support developers and customers using the infrastructure being developed.
- Help protect the platform against hackers and viruses.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, and Terraform.
- Cloud knowledge, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience establishing and developing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps and GitLab.
- Experience provisioning cloud infrastructure and re-platforming applications into a cloud environment.
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting large-scale systems.
- Preferred experience with .NET, Node, Go, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
- Current understanding of system security best practices.
- Experience collaborating with teams across several departments to execute project plans.
