Responsibilities
- Translate manual grid-study processes into well-structured, performant code.
- Maintain and enhance SaaS applications for energy and renewable-grid customers.
- Deploy, test, maintain, and debug large-scale parallel-compute software on cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate on product requirements, test development, and validation of computational results.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python; knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Experience developing and shipping high-performance numerical products or backends using computational parallelization frameworks.
- Strong algorithms and data-structures skills for solving complex numerical optimization problems.
- Experience deploying, maintaining, and debugging software in a cloud environment such as AWS is a plus.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS SQS/SNS is a plus.
- Knowledge of power systems, power-systems simulation, numerical methods, optimization, or electronic design automation is a plus.
- BS, MS, or PhD in EE, CE, ECE, or CS is preferred.
- At least four years of experience developing and deploying applications.
