Base Salary
$135k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the data platform, including real-time API integrations.
- Build Kafka-based streaming systems and data pipelines using Spark and Airflow.
- Create reliable, maintainable, and scalable infrastructure for data services.
- Translate product and customer requirements into durable platform designs.
- Make thoughtful technical tradeoffs to enhance system performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Experience designing, implementing, and owning production-facing services.
- Familiarity with building and integrating external APIs is a plus.
- Experience with relational DB backends like Django or similar.
- Knowledge of building ETL and data pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies such as AWS, Terraform, and EKS.
- Strong desire to contribute to an early-stage team and create foundational systems.
