Bosch GlobalResponsibilities
- Manage and refine the backlog for assigned microservices in collaboration with product stakeholders.
- Translate high-level requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned microservices and clarify development priorities.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java enterprise applications and backend components.
- Implement server-side logic, API integrations, database interactions, microservice architectures, and event-driven patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Communicate project progress, technical challenges, and solutions effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience developing Java software for enterprise applications.
- Optional experience or significant exposure to Product Owner responsibilities, including backlog management, user story creation, or stakeholder communication.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java 11 or higher and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Practical experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Docker, databases, version control using Git, and enterprise microservice concepts.
- Experience with at least one of PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence and a basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.
- Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria and contribute to product decisions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, Linux, Shell, Kubernetes, JavaScript, or Angular.
