Responsibilities
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, data, infrastructure, and processes.
- Apply practical threat modeling to uncover threats and guide architectural improvements.
- Partner with system owners and technical teams to identify potential exploits and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Help teams build security into applications from the ground up while balancing security controls with business requirements.
- Develop tailored security solutions and creative approaches to complex technical challenges.
- Teach others and transfer knowledge about threat modeling.
Requirements
- Offensive security background.
- Ability to build and implement secure solutions from the ground up.
- Ability to evaluate security tradeoffs and make risk-based decisions.
- Strong Linux and scripting skills.
- Ability to communicate complex security issues, collaborate with system owners, and build relationships.
- Ability to teach others and transfer knowledge about threat modeling.
- Ability to take accountability and document decision-making rationale.
- Proficiency in any programming language is a plus.
- Fluency in English.
