Responsibilities
- Develop embedded real-time DSP and control systems for advanced applications.
- Program and test embedded control systems for Infinera's optical modem ASIC.
- Perform MATLAB simulations and C++ hardware modeling to support system design.
- Conduct real-time firmware coding, testing, and database API development.
- Contribute to digital ASIC simulation for system optimization and validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Combinatorics and Optimization, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited school in Canada.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Experience using MATLAB for technical applications.
- Knowledge of DSP, control theory, and communications theory through coursework.
- Previous internship experience at Nokia or Infinera is preferred.
