Base Salary
$72k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new functionality in C and C++ for software components running on real-time operating systems.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, documentation, debugging, and maintenance.
- Reduce backlog defects and develop scripts, test utilities, and other tools to improve development efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, verification teams, test teams, and other technical personnel to resolve problems and support large-scale software releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Previous relevant internship, co-op, or applied project experience.
- Knowledge of Embedded C and C++ programming, structured programming, and software design concepts.
- Preferred familiarity with low-level real-time software, real-time operating system concepts, Embedded Linux, VxWorks, Ethernet, the OSI Model, TCP/IP, and IP routing protocols.
- Interest in software development and willingness to learn.
