Responsibilities
- Develop customer applications for work order management, scheduling, and dispatch.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key functionality within custom ServiceNow instances.
- Enhance ServiceNow event rules to ensure proper CMDB binding.
- Work with technical subject-matter experts to obtain environment information supporting service mapping and event work.
- Install, configure, and integrate ServiceNow platform, custom application, and integration functionality.
Requirements
- Experience with ServiceNow platform, custom applications, and integrations.
- Ability to communicate and implement ServiceNow platform, custom application, and integration functionality.
- Ability to develop interfaces for different user audiences using custom application models or Service Portals.
- Experience developing integrated logic and functional components that interface with ServiceNow internal services and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of service-oriented and distributed enterprise application architecture, including web services, data access and persistence, and client/server systems.
- Understanding of credentialless and credential-based Discovery.
- Ability to install, configure, and integrate ServiceNow products and functionality involving Discovery, Service Mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and multisource CMDB.
- Ability to prevent duplicate CIs through CI identifiers.
- Ability to extend Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns.
- Knowledge of configuring, managing, and maintaining MID servers.
- Proficiency with the command-line console for Service Mapping.
- Ability to work with and migrate patterns between environments for Service Mapping.
- Proficiency configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping.
- Knowledge of Discovery for multi-tier services, including advanced pattern configuration for Service Mapping.
