Responsibilities
- Set frontend technical strategy on a year-long horizon and connect it to critical, business-impacting projects.
- Implement major product features from Figma or product requirements across frontend surfaces.
- Migrate and modernize web code, design systems, and architecture using or developing codemods, AI agent skills, and tools.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to manage technical sustainability, risks, and trade-offs.
- Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes that multiply team effectiveness.
- Own operational readiness through monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, alerting, and on-call support.
- Establish code review and design standards and promote quality and ownership through writing and tech talks.
- Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience working across multiple teams and driving horizontal initiatives with demonstrated leadership.
- Experience delivering major features or system components, or deprecating existing functionality, through technical and execution plans.
- Ability to work from low-level language idioms through large-system architecture.
- Demonstrated growth through gathering and applying feedback from engineering and cross-functional peers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
