Base Salary
$128k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build React single-page applications using modular component architecture, client-side routing, and robust state management.
- Implement drilldowns, exception review, approval workflows, and other features for reconciliation systems.
- Create responsive interfaces using CSS grid, flexbox, media queries, and modern UI design patterns.
- Integrate backend APIs with secure data handling, schema validation, and structured error management.
- Implement protected routing, secure session workflows, safe rendering, and predictable asynchronous data flows.
- Apply WCAG accessibility practices, including ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and semantic HTML.
- Optimize UI performance for data-dense reconciliation, exception-tracking, and review screens.
- Collaborate with backend, ingestion, reporting, DevOps, product, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Document UI components, interaction patterns, integration contracts, UX standards, and reusable workflows.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for UI/UX development of mission-critical financial applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or a master’s degree in those areas.
- At least 10 years of UI/UX development and implementation experience.
- Strong proficiency with React, JavaScript or TypeScript, single-page application architecture, and component-driven development.
- Experience with React Router, Redux, Zustand, Context API, centralized or modular state management, and asynchronous data flows.
- Expertise in modern CSS, responsive UI design, RESTful API integration, secure data handling, validation, and error management.
- Knowledge of protected routes, session handling, safe rendering, WCAG, ARIA, and semantic HTML.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for UI state, routing, and asynchronous workflow issues.
- Preferred experience with reconciliation, exception management, multi-step approvals, data-rich dashboards, design systems, reusable component libraries, backend systems, ingestion pipelines, or reporting platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps collaboration for frontend deployment pipelines.
- Must be a US Person; US citizenship is not required, and no security clearance is required.
