Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-optimized AWS architectures that meet enterprise standards and business requirements.
- Build resilient data-processing and data-movement workflows using AWS Data Pipeline and related services.
- Configure Amazon ECR repositories and AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters for secure containerized application deployments.
- Implement AWS Shield, AWS Certificate Manager, identity, and networking controls for secure hybrid and multi-account environments.
- Develop autoscaling, caching, configuration-management, patching, and operational-monitoring strategies across cloud fleets.
- Design Amazon DocumentDB data models and operational patterns for highly available document-oriented applications.
- Assess environments and manage application and data migrations using AWS App Discovery Service, AWS Migration Evaluator, AWS Control Tower, AWS MGN, AWS MigrationHub, and AWS DMS.
- Use AWS CLI and infrastructure-as-code practices to automate provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational tasks.
- Document architecture decisions, standards, and operational runbooks and communicate implementation plans to cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Solid production experience designing and implementing AWS architectures using AWS Data Pipeline, Amazon ECR, AWS EKS, and AWS Systems Manager.
- Strong experience with AWS Shield, AWS Certificate Manager, and AWS networking services for layered security, encryption, and hybrid connectivity.
- Hands-on proficiency with AWS Autoscaling, AWS ElasticCache, and Amazon DocumentDB.
- Proven experience orchestrating large-scale enterprise migrations with AWS App Discovery Service, AWS Migration Evaluator, AWS Control Tower, AWS MGN, AWS MigrationHub, and AWS DMS.
- Advanced scripting skills with AWS CLI and experience applying infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Clear communication skills for translating technical designs into practical implementation plans.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or equivalent enterprise cloud certification.
