Base Salary
$133k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality for Ad Client experiences across multiple teams, prioritizing high-risk user journeys.
- Define and drive test strategies for new features and premium experiences.
- Build and maintain automation for critical paths and end-to-end flows covering device and OS compatibility, accessibility, privacy, compliance, and localization.
- Diagnose defects, perform root-cause analysis, document findings, and collaborate on triage and resolution.
- Own release readiness and quality sign-off and participate in on-call rotations.
- Review code and test pull requests across platforms.
- Map cross-team dependencies and coordinate quality coverage at integration seams.
- Use AI-assisted engineering workflows while applying human validation and sound engineering judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience.
- At least 3 years of post-bachelor’s experience in software testing and/or software development, or a master’s degree plus 2+ years of post-graduate experience, or a PhD in a relevant technical field.
- Proficiency with object-oriented programming in Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, or similar.
- Experience with client or mobile test automation frameworks.
- Highly experienced in defining, building, and maintaining test coverage for client and mobile applications across smartphones and tablets.
- Deep understanding and application of quality-related agile methodologies throughout the software development life cycle.
- Hands-on experience using AI in an engineering workflow.
- Experience with quality engineering tools for test management, version control, issue tracking, and debugging.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, reporting, leadership, customer focus, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience in distributed product teams, AWS or Google Cloud, and continuous integration/delivery systems.
