Responsibilities
- Operate and improve release and compliance platforms built in Python and Go.
- Support automated release approvals and software-change auditing.
- Administer GitLab, Sourcegraph, Artifactory, and related source-code-management services.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Write automation and integrations to reduce repetitive manual work.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and containerize services with Docker on Kubernetes and GKE hosted on GCP.
- Build dashboards and alerts to monitor pipeline reliability and participate in on-call technical escalation.
- Coach and mentor colleagues across the wider engineering function.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform roles.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python or Bash.
- Strong understanding of version-control systems such as GitLab and Artifactory.
- Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-native engineering, including LLM platforms and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and AlloyDB.
- Frontend development skills using React and TypeScript.
- Understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards within source-code management.
