Responsibilities
- Lead the development of scalable, maintainable, and performant software systems.
- Own technical solutions and hands-on delivery from development through production.
- Act as a point of escalation for the development team during and outside office hours.
- Apply governance to solution design and code quality and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Manage work estimation and produce solution documentation.
- Maintain deep knowledge of system architecture, technical structure, and domain context.
- Guide a small team of developers in designing and developing solutions.
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing through pairing, code reviews, and related activities.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or React.
- Proven experience building highly scalable systems, preferably in the cloud, with GCP valued.
- Proficiency developing customer-centric front-end solutions.
- Exposure to NoSQL datastores.
- Leadership experience within development teams and technical project delivery.
- Capability in technical leadership, mentorship, pairing, and code reviews.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Deep understanding of large-scale, highly available, multiuser, service-based systems.
- Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response.
