Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications and services across multi-tier, distributed architectures.
- Drive architecture discussions, make technology and data-model decisions, own new projects, and deliver high-quality software.
- Develop and maintain microservices using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code workflows for reliable and repeatable deployments.
- Partner with security, compliance, and cross-functional teams to meet audit and security requirements.
- Participate in scoping, technical design, estimation, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance, and support.
- Improve engineering tools, cloud-based technologies, services, and development processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering multi-tier, highly scalable, distributed web applications.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and data structures.
- Strong experience with test-driven development, test automation, and microservices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code workflows.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work proactively, make practical business trade-offs, communicate effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience developing finance applications is preferred.
- Terraform experience is preferred.
- Experience creating Apache Airflow workflows is preferred.
