Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor the engineering team in designing and delivering high-quality products.
- Consider architectural and non-functional requirements and work with the team to deliver solutions.
- Develop services, APIs, web applications, and scalable middle-tier components.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Work with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and message queues.
- Contribute across the technology stack within a cross-functional development team.
Requirements
- Significant commercial experience developing services and APIs with C#, .NET Core, MongoDB and/or SQL.
- Strong web development background with Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience developing HTTP-based APIs and implementing RESTful services with JSON.
- Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with test-driven development and test frameworks.
- Proven experience developing scalable, highly available, and high-performing middle-tier components.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Entity Framework Core, Web API, Google Protocol Buffers, RabbitMQ, and SQS.
- Understanding of principles behind high-performing web pages.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high motivation and drive.
- E-commerce and/or financial services experience is relevant.
